Hey, I’m Anthony. Nice to meet you!

I am an iOS Engineer in San Francisco. I initially started my career as an iOS developer, dropping out of CS to start my own company and building 10 iOS apps for various companies (including one for a publicly-traded company, a social network for a private college, an augmented-reality app for a startup, etc).

I then moved on to found a successful virtual-reality startup that I sold after 3 years before moving into product management for 4 years. I left the field after becoming a senior PM and realized I miss building products myself.

On the personal side,

• I’m an avid photographer, most specifically nature (landscape, travel) and macro (flower, bees)

• I enjoy learning about all kinds of engineering topics; I’m currently reading a book about mobile software engineering, another about civil engineering, and another about mechanical engineering (specifically automotive).

• I’m a passionate Formula 1 fan, not only watching but playing at home with a simulator. I enjoy tweaking all the settings to deeply understand how the car performs in different scenarios, and improve my lap time.

• A strange obsession with logistics and systems; from global trade through container ships (highly recommend this book) to the electrical grid system to software architecture design.

• I like to keep active through a sand volleyball league I organize, it’s a great workout and a lot of fun!
